Clear your clutter

Finished your exams? Your textbooks, folders and handwritten notes are worth a great deal to the students sitting them next year — and nothing at all in a cupboard. Nothing on the board is for sale.

How to actually use a printable tracker

A revision tracker is not a to-do list. Its job is to make the gap visible — to show you, without having to remember, that one subject has had six sessions this fortnight and another has had none.

That gap is almost always in the same direction. Students revise the subject they are best at, because progress feels good and difficulty feels like failure. Nobody plans to do this; it happens quietly over weeks, and it is usually invisible until a mock exam makes it obvious. A sheet on the wall makes it obvious in week two instead, while there is still time.

Put it somewhere you cannot avoid it

On the wall above the desk, not in a drawer and not in a folder. The entire value of a paper tracker over an app is that you cannot close it. Filling it in should take five seconds — a tick, a date, a mark — because anything that takes longer gets abandoned by the second week.

Record the mark, not just the tick

A tick says you did the paper. A mark says whether it went well. Over six weeks a column of marks shows a trend, and a trend is the only honest evidence that revision is working. If the numbers are flat across a month, the method needs changing — more papers at the same approach will not move them.

What is here

Printable planners and trackers for mapping out a sitting, condensed topic notes for several subjects, and whole-subject paper bundles. Everything is free to download and print, with no account. If you would rather have a set printed and bound properly than feed fifty sheets through a home printer, the printing service will do that and post it.
